The legal owner or the representative of the owner of the physical specimen. 

In the case of permanent loans, this is normally the institution holding the specimen (i.e. not the legal owner), with its <verbatim>Role</verbatim> indicated in the respective element of the contact type. In that case, the actual owner is then registered under <verbatim>Acquisition/AcquiredFrom</verbatim>, with the <verbatim>Role</verbatim> of the owner specified in the respective element there.
