I did not understand what was listed for some of the existing standards (HISPID 3: "-."??)

Existing standards is very incomplete, please do not copy, this is taken on by Neil in a separate chapter (tables that directly describe the mapping between ABCD and the respective standard, see examples on the ABCD group website).
